Brief moments of joy (in a changing climate)
Felling a little hopeless about the Institute Elective I had impulsively chosen (CE 608 Eco-hydro-climatology), I was checking out the IPCC AR6 since Sir mentioned about his contribution in chapter 11 (WG I). I found two timelines in chapter 1:
There was a seminar I had to do in the sixth semester of my B.Tech. and I came up with "Energy and Environment in Historical Context". Turns out I had mentioned most of the points in the IPCC timeline without referring to the report at all.
At first I was disappointed that I hadn't used the mightiest resource available: IPCC AR6.
Then I kinda started feeling proud of myself that I had collected all these facts separately on my own and woven them together into the presentation, and they are factually all correct!!
Just this one thing randomly as boosted my confidence in this course I guess! XD
