Digital Crop Survey - Day 2

10/11/24, Sunday

Vedarampatti & Kambainallur

Starting off from SriRam School (our home for the next week) at 0630.

A bus exclusively for us!

Ha!

Is that supposed to be a ladder?

Vedarampatti had really hot weather that day.

Dharu and I were struggling with VI sims and the buggy app.

Our escort.

A dead Banded Kukri by the road. Dharu spotted it way after I had crossed it!

The sun stuck a straw into my head and sucked out all my energy by forenoon. So much that I sat and sunk solidly into sleep for a good 15 minutes after this photo.

7-round Kovil. 5000 years old. Swetha, Jyothika and Sahana had already reached its centre. It was a one-path maze with alternating clockwise and anticlockwise rounds.

The stone gods at one edge of the square.

Walking barefoot here wasn't as easy as I thought. Jayashree, Swetha, Dharunika and Abinaya would pull out a troublesome tiny thorn from my foot the next night

Going in and coming out took 30 minutes. After that, Swetha and I tried drawing the maze plan, and failed, just like Veerathalapathy Sir said.

A string cot made out of drip irrigation pipes! We had lunch of tomato rice sitting on it.

Green and blue. <3

On govt duty in govt veh.

.
Sorghum

Peacock with crow.

This cute guy came up to us so happily.

In a bus which was not exclusive for us, but in which everyone was exclusively interested in us.

Cotton.

I was apprehensive about missing out on yoga and did it twice a day in the hostel during the DCS. Soon Nive joined me, every single day (so thankful) and so did few others. It was fun!
