Neeraj Chopra in my Exam Paper

I had my Engineering Statistics endsem exam today. The question asked to define probability with an example.

Now there are two kinds of probability, the mathematical/apriori one and statistical/empirical/aposteriori probability, according to my textbook. The former has a finite sample space with a numerical value and the latter is when the number of trials tends to infinity.

So the probability of Neeraj Chopra's javelin throw crossing the 85m mark in six throws is mathematical probability, I suppose.

And the probability of this happening with respect to his entire career (both during competitions and practice) is what I think statistical probability is.

I hope Neeraj Chopra crosses the 90m mark soon and I hope I too get a 90+ in Statistics hehe.
